Fund manager Stockspot has just published its Fat Cat Funds Report 2018 – its sixth annual assessment of superannuation funds.
This review looks at the performance of Australia’s largest super funds to help Australians understand the factors that matter most when choosing a fund, and to draw attention to the impact of high fees on their retirement savings
Stockspot rates the performance of funds over five years after the deduction of fees compared against funds of similar risk. Its “Fat Cat Funds” are the bottom 10 funds in their category for the five-year periods, while the “Fit Cat Funds” are the top 10.
For the second year running, Stockspot rated First Super as a “Fit Cat” for having a low-cost, high-returning fund. Our Shares Plus option was third in the Top 10 High Growth Fit Cat funds, and our Conservative Balanced also made the Top 10 in the Balanced Fit Cat fund group.
You can download The Fat Cat Funds Report – Super Fund Guide 2018 from the Stockspot website. And you can find more details about our Fund’s investment returns on our Investment Returns & Crediting Rates page.
